Thanks for sharing. I can say I support you in your efforts and struggles with these things. Also that is a very wonderful creative idea with the ring in my opinion. Also I noticed you were wondering about endometriosis if anyone has it here well my mother has it very badly and she ends up in the hospital many times the only thing she can do is take 5 or 6 Advil at the signs of the first cramps and have a relaxing bath or try to sleep in a bit. She has passed it many times and got very sick and puked from having this she also went through a phase of passing out alot because its connected to her vagus nerve. It's a very rare disease though but you could get tested for it. I recommend Chinese medicine though.

sex and craving
Hi! I feel I can truly relate to you because I am a 22 year old virgin (I'll be 23 in April). I had a rough relationship with my father and this put me off dating because I worried I would subconsciously continue the cycle and choose someone like him. I refused all dates, even when this guy I liked asked me to homecoming and senior year I turned down a prom date. I also have never been kissed or held hands and I am "behind" in some experiences I would eventually like to have. I want to save sex for my marriage night, but I do have...feelings and desires sometimes, even if just for a cuddling session. I'm just now moving forward to be more accepting towards romantic advances so that I can try to achieve a healthy romantic relationship with a man, without worrying so much about the future and in essence, trusting myself to choose wisely.
Like you, I've used erotica and felt guilty about it. It's frowned upon in my faith and I don't want to rely on it as it feels like an unhealthy substitute for a real emotional connection.
We just have to be patient and learn to trust in ourselves. I've bought a purity ring with "Don't Awaken Love" (from Song of Solomon) inscribed on it to help remind me of what I believe and to remain strong in my convictions.
I find that engaging in another activity or seeking out a friend or family member to watch a movie or play a game (anything to distract me) helps when the urge arises.

5HTP for better mood, better sleep, and less PMS
This is excellent for insomnia. I've used it for 2 months. I noticed a more restful sleep right away after beginning use of it. I have not noticed that it makes me remarkably happier--and neither did a friend of mine when he took it. However, my PMS has decreased--maybe from all the great sleep I've been getting!
Also, it works great for fibromyalgia pain!

I agree with Jenny. You should not feel ashamed about your sexual energy. It's an indication of the vitality and creativity within you. It's a gift and all you need to do is to learn to channel it in a productive and creative way.
Since you're a spiritual healer, I'd like to recommend a book by a Taoist master Mantak Chia. He has a really good explanation on female sexual energy and how to transform it to nourish our body and spirit.
It's one of the books that have influenced me on my own journey. The book is called Healing Love Through the Tao: Cultivating Female Sexual Energy. sex and craving
Hello Darling,
First off, never be ashamed of your bodies cravings. And craving sex is so amazingly natural, especially during your cycle or during ovulation.
Like you, I believed in not having sex until marriage. I waited until that time, through personal convictions, to be a virgin when I married.
No mean feat as I'm a bit of a "spicy lady" myself.
Even craving food is natural - but your body IS craving a certain kind of food, have you identified it yet?
Mine has always been the stereo-typical sugar/chocolate. Figure out what you're craving and enjoy it! If you don't know for certain what you're craving eat in moderation - eat healthy.
Decide to pig out on hummus and carrots rather than a big mac.
Now, depending on what your convictions and personal morals are - masturbation is not a bad alternative. I totally understand your avoidance to porn and I personally agree with you from abstaining from viewing it.
However, if masturbation helps you get through those times of heat, then I think it may be a good alternative to burning up!
But please don't be ashamed! The female orgasm is a wonderful thing, and while it may not be the 'type' of orgasm you're looking for, it may help seep off some of your sexual tension.
If that really doesn't seem like a preferred alternative, there are tried and true distractions.
- Work out! Break a sweat!
- Cold showers
- Get out and about! Don't have too much "alone at home" time.
- Stay up until you're ready to sleep when you get to bed.
Hm, off the top of my head I cannot think of a good herb that could abate some of your sexual tension, but I'm sure there is one!
I'll do some research and get back to you....
Anyway, you are not the only one! When I'm ovulating, I'm extremely frisky, and I totally understand how frustrating it can be. :)
Peace,
- Jenny

Belly Dancing for Beginners
I've been bellydancing for about 3 years now, and love it! I had joined a troupe (arabic) and was dancing weekly.
I started taking lessons again, and was asked to join another group of dancers, but I just don't think I can commit to that right now.
My little one is still pretty little, and I'm a full time SAHM so...
That being said, I do still do my weekly dancing lessons and am positive the working out and shaking have been one of the main reasons for my periods feeling better. :)
Thanks so much for the link!

You can decide to put a PUL liner (think what reusable diapers are made from) but most women (and depending on your flow) are happy with just cotton. :)
Who knows, I've gathered the material, maybe I should really just sit down and make it.

- Praying
- Listening to a fire crackle, water fall or chimes in the wind.

Rosehip tea
My love recently brought me some hibiscus back from his journey abroad. Hibiscus is often blended with rosehip, but very interesting to explore on its own. I think it will be another favourite of mine. Today I used it to fortify my emotional self, as I felt a little wobbly. I've got this huge ceramic mug I always use for special teas, it's good to hold and keeps my tea the perfect temperature. Drinking the tea was nurturing and lovely, and I felt grounded and well-balanced afterwards. Definitely one to use for ritual and ceremonial purposes :-)

Meditation and visualisation is so useful! It really makes a difference. I also practice mindfulness, and tonight it takes the form of listebibg to the storm that's raging outside.
